Four intrepid volunteer gardeners defied the wind and rain of Storm Gareth to plant 200 bluebell and wood anemone bulbs in the Woodland Glade on Tuesday 12th March. Gardening Co-ordinator Philippa Taman said: “With these bulbs being delivered ‘in the green’ and already sprouting we had no alternative but to plant them within 24 hours, or we would risk losing them. So getting a little damp and blown was a small price to pay for next Spring’s colour”
